Mourinho is faced with a selection headache due to injuries sustained by several first-team players.
France internationals Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba withdrew from international duty through injury, whilst centre-back Victor Lindelof is a doubt through illness.
Marcus Rashford limped out of England 2-1 win over Croatia on Sunday, whilst Romelu Lukaku is also questionable to feature after he withdrew from the Belgium squad last weekend with a hamstring problem.
Lukaku’s compatriot Marouane Fellaini was not included in the Belgium squad due to fitness concerns.
For Crystal Palace, the fitness of full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a concern after he withdrew from the England Under-21 squad due to a shoulder injury.
Eagles talisman Wilfried Zaha is set to be part of the squad, having benefitted from an extended recovery period over the international break after sustaining a hamstring injury last month.
Defender James Tomkins is Palace’s only other injury worry. He will hope to recover from a knock to his knee in time for Saturday.

Crystal Palace will be hoping they can record their first ever victory over Manchester United on Saturday. They have not won in 18 previous attempts, only managing to draw on three occasions amongst the 15 victories amassed by Manchester United.
Roy Hodgson’s men were extremely close to victory in the last meeting between the two sides. A thunderbolt of a strike by Nemanja Matić secured a remarkable 3-2 victory for United after they had trailed 2-0.
Palace will know that any point gained on Saturday will be crucial in their bid for Premier League survival.
Manchester United will fancy their chances of victory, at home to a Crystal Palace team that has not been victorious in the Premier League since 15 September. In their quest for a top-four finish, United will know that only a win will do on Saturday.
On the other hand, Palace will be hoping for at least a point in their fight to avoid the drop. The Eagles have lost four of their last five matches, and are only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.

It has been a tendency under the reign of José Mourinho for Manchester United to struggle in home games against lesser opposition who sit back in numbers.
It may turn out to be one of those games as Palace know that they are unable to beat United in a shoot-out. The South Londoners have also been rather unlucky in recent weeks, with the fixture list being unkind and it is about time that the wheel of fortune favours the Eagles again.
Mourinho also has a depleted squad to choose from, owing to a string of injuries amongst first-team regulars. As a result, United will find it tough to break down a disciplined Palace side.
Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Crystal Palace
