Indian Super League needs talent like Nourdine Hmaimou to grow

 

Indian football super league is undoubtedly on the rise getting bigger and better from season one. Having attracted many famous foreign stars like Roberto Carlos to the ISL, it has many football fans all over the world pinch themselves to confirm the reality. Even France and Arsenal legend Robert Pires has played for the ISL side FC Goa.
Since its inception in 2014, ISL has proved to be an excellent platform for many Indian as well as 1foreign footballers to show their talent and skills. Currently ISL is like an awakening of a sleeping giant representing India on the global football map. The burgeoning football following for various teams in ISL has influenced many quality young players from all over the world to play with ISL. It’s time that India must now think of bringing in new foreign talents from across the border and expands its potential to make it big.
Even Robert Pires believes that India should look to tap into the knowledge base of European countries to further improve their stock in sports. Many foreign players are now viewing India as a legitimate footballing destination and they have used their good play to win contracts in top leagues back in Europe and South America during the ISL off-season.
The one name that India is tapping to join the ISL is Nourdine Hamimou from Hendon Football Club London. He is a name synonymous with aficionados of the Premier League, given his illustrious four-year-long stint in the club. The Moroccan center forward has played in a variety of leagues and the ISL board believes he has the streak in him to dazzle in the next match of the Indian Super League.
Even Nourdine believes that playing in the ISL would give him the big highlight he always wanted to have. He says, “I have played many matches scoring higher each time for the team, but playing for ISL would truly be an amazing chance to experience. The drums, culture, people of the country, talented players of the team, everything gives me great motivation and I would be proud to be associated with the ISL if given chance.” He adds “Being the admirer of the football game in India, I have seen talented players like Nicolas Anelka, Robert Carlos, Marco Materazzi, and Lucio play for the Indian Clubs and doing great.”
The fact there are experienced coaches who have worked with mainstream clubs as well as national teams across the world, makes ISL great opportunities for players like Nourdine Hmaimou to make the most of. Working with young and experienced players will not help the upcoming talent learn more about game management, but also help them learn taking care of themselves in between the matches, some tricks and tips of scoring great, and will also give them a chance to polish their skills.
The Bengaluru FC, the Kerela Blasters are few of the great teams in the ISL doing extremely well. Nourdine has the required youthful exuberance, tactical thinking ability, and he kicks the ball like a legend. Being physically so strong and fit, he can be a fantastic addition to the ISL teams and India is looking forward to playing with such talented players in the future.
