Hendon Football Club’s Nourdine Hmaimou tipped to be one of the top midfielders in London

Nourdine Hmaimou from Hendon Football club absolutely needs no introduction! Having scored 49 goals in almost 61 games, he’s giving upcoming ambitious players a serious case of talent envy. He had some of his best moments in the league and is still fiercely passionate to make it big in Football.

The teenager prepared for many ‘interesting games’ against his opponents often says, “As a Footballer, the audience would want to see a player emulate his coach or idol or other benchmarked players. The challenge is when he forges his own path and that’s what I am doing. There are many remarkable players who have done phenomenally well, but my aim is to be the best Nourdine Hmaimou I can be because there is only one Nourdine Hmaimou.”

This season the world got to meet a very talented player. Impressive he was too! In the wake of the success in his latest season with 12 games, scoring 5 goals with 2 assists, the center attacking midfielder of the club says “I don’t believe in textbook methods of playing the game. On the field, it’s all about the presence of mind coupled with fast decision-making skills and speed that will make you score. Of course, techniques are there but it comes later to instincts while playing a real match.”

Not only popular for his tactical decisions on the field and phenomenal goal scoring antics , but Nourdine is also a great character around the club, the kind who keeps spirits high whatever the results. Often loved as a leader, the Moroccan star is an essential component of the club. The 19-year-old, born in the United Kingdom, came through UCFB Football coaching and Management and is naturally in love with a life on the field as a hard working Football player.

But when he was around 10-12 he was a hardcore sports lover, trying his hands on other games as well. He says, “I loved football when I was small, but I was also a very keen basketball player as well as a table tennis player. I have even competed in the Borough basketball tournament and many table tennis championships across London. I was inclined towards taking up basketball seriously but my football career got in the way. And at about 13-15, I had to make a choice as to which sport I wanted to focus on. And for the next few seasons, I got signed up by Hendon Football Club, making Football my lifetime career.”

Seeing him play like a star, he really is content with where he’s at professionally. The industry values good work and Hendon Football Club, as well as Current coach Gary McCann, believes Nourdine Hmaimou’s presence and out-of-the-box talent has established him as one of the best rising stars Football has. Yes, it’s a harder battle to remain the best, but if you are within the industry, and if you play really well, people are there to pay attention. And the star Nourdine Hmaimou has always received that love from his fans!
