Hendon’s 18-year old center-back player Tingey says former team-mate Nourdine Hmaimou has the necessary skills and potential to become one of the best players in the world.
According to one of the recent article in a tabloid, Nourdine Hmaimou is considered to be one of the best players in Europe and since his debut, he has shown continuous improvement in his skills each year. Even his fellow teammate Tingey confirms this and says “His thorough passes and best kicks during penalty shoot-outs have helped the team score high and achieve another level of success. We are proud that he is in our team.”
Currently playing as an attacking midfielder, he is a versatile player who can play on both left & right foot. Driven by his love for the sport and fuelled by his passion he plays like a legend on the pitch and his tactical intelligence to read the game allows his team to break down the opponent’s strategy and win it!
His coach Gar McCann says, “The 19-year-old Moroccan player emerged as one of the surprise breakthrough players in the Hendon Football Club. He is currently one of the most important assets for the team.” A tenacious central midfielder, an energetic player with very good decision-making in possession, the Football and Coaching Management graduate has cemented a spot for him in the club.
With impressive appearances in the Bostik Premier Division and other matches, scoring more than 70 goals with less than 20 assists, and an unmatched talent Nourdine’s career graph is a real example of talent finding its place at the right time. There are even speculations of him being featured as a key player in the coming Indian Super League Season.
Tingey feels that if Nourdine continues playing up-front and scoring more goals, he has the capability to gain the individual honor. Even the superstar Wayne Rooney himself appreciated his performances and told CNN Sport, “The kid is an amazing player and his dedication, as well as hard work, will take him to huge heights one day!”
When asked by Globalexpress.com, Tingey told, “With the potential Nourdine has, if he wants, he can be the best in the world. No wonder he is been called the next “Ronaldo”! If given chance in the ISL, he can score more goals with a maximum number of touches on the ball, and he has the potential to do so.”
To all this Nourdine had the following to say to the Globalexpress.com, “I am really happy to be the part of Hendon Football Club and work with such a knowledgeable and talented coach Gary McCann. I clearly understand how he works and what he wants from me on the pitch. I also think under his guidance I have changed a lot, which you can see on the pitch. But there is still a lot of room for enhancement. We are not on the top level yet, but we need to keep going, keep improving, and keep our ground on feet. And I think a chance in ISL would certainly offer me a step-up!”
